Situated amidst spectacular scenery on the wild and unspoilt south coast of the Island, the Bunkhouse & Tea Garden benefit from a peaceful and isolated location whilst also being within easy reach of Oban. It is a short walk to Gylen Castle, and a series of secluded bays with stunning views down the Firth of Lorne and the Argyll islands. The island is virtually a car free zone, so you can be guaranteed a quiet and fascinating walk. There is abundant wildlife and wild flowers, as well as enchanting waterfalls, and hidden caves.

Kerrera Bunkhouse & Tea Garden are situated on a circular 6mile (9.5 km) walking route. From the ferry follow track 200m to junction. For 45 min walk, keep left along the east coast and stay on the track past 3 dwellings. Lower Gylen is the 4th Dwelling, (5 mins walk from Gylen Castle). For an approx 2 hour walk turn right at the junction and follow track which travels along the western side of the island.
